MORSE CODE TEST

NOTICE
MORSE CODE TEST 2009-2
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) will be holding the second
Morse Code Test for the year 2009, pursuant to Regulation 26(2) of the Communications and
Multimedia (Technical Standards) Regulations 2000. The test will be conducted at SKMM’s Head
Office in Cyberjaya, Selangor. Details of the test are as follows:

2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Sending Test
Qualification requirements:
1. Age 18 and above on the test date; and
2. Holding a valid Class B (9W), Amateur Station Apparatus Assignment for at least one (1) year
prior to the test date.
Qualified individuals are invited to sit for the test. The application form can be obtained from SKMM
head office and via the SKMM website at http://www.mcmc.gov.my/. Please send duly completed forms
together with the required copies of supporting documents (please refer to the application conditions
stated in the application form) to:

Please mark the top left corner of the envelope with “CW 2009-2”. The test fee is Ringgit Malaysia
Fifty (RM 50.00) and shall be paid in either Money/Postal Order or Bank Draft made out in favour of
“SURUHANJAYA KOMUNIKASI DAN MULTIMEDIA MALAYSIA” and must be enclosed
with the application form. Payment received through other mode of payment will be rejected and not
refundable.
The number of candidates are limited and priority is given to early applications received. Successful
applicants will be notified by post latest by 1 October 2009. Please contact Cik Ida Khairuniah (03-
